Like other search engines msn also gives priority to quality and well-optimized web pages with proper navigation that can be easily visited by the web searchers. Msn put priority on importance of the keywords or you can say the keyword prominence.

 

If your web page is well optimized and the 1st paragraph contains the prominent keywords given in the Meta tags (title, keywords and description) will give you the best results in msn searches.

 

To get good position in msn searches you have to take care of following things:

  1. Your first paragraph should contain your prominent and targeted keywords. So that crawler will get those keywords at the beginning of the page
  2. Keywords placed in link text having the greatest importance

  7. Add a site map
  8. Each page of your site should be within 1 to 3 clicks from the home page
  9. Never use hidden text
  10. Don’t participate in any link farm to increase your page rank artificially
